Back to School

Welcome to Kindergarten!

We begin in just a few days, and I am so excited to get to know you!  I thought you might like to know a little bit about me since we will be spending lots of time together this year.  

My name is Mrs. Fournier and I teach Kindergarten here in Bar Harbor.  I used to teach bigger kids in Mississippi.  Before that I lived in New York City.  Lots of people in my family still live there.

 I live on Mount Desert Island now with my husband and my dog, Natchez (his name rhymes with matches).  He is two years old and is very big and goofy!  He loves to pick blueberries and eats them right off the bushes!

For fun I like to hike, swim, read, write, work in my garden and knit hats.  I also love to travel to new places.  Once I went to Alaska with Mr. Fournier, and we hiked alongside a huge glacier.  It was a spectacular sight!

Of course, one of my very favorite things is teaching Kindergarten.  I am looking forward to starting school next week.  I can't wait to see you there!
